MFT Trident's Maiden Voyage: Target Hit in the First Hour
MFT Trident went live for the first time on Sunday night's open. It hit its $1,990 daily profit target about an hour in and finished the session at +$1,992.50 across 11 trades, 9 of them winners.
WHAT MFT TRIDENT IS
MFT Trident runs up to six futures markets at once from a single NinjaTrader window. It takes the trades, manages the stops and targets, and stops itself when the day is done: when the daily target is hit or the loss limit is reached. You watch, it works.
THE VOYAGE (Eastern time)
6:00 PM - Sunday's session opens with NQ, ES and gold loaded.
6:23 PM - First trade. ES breaks out and Trident goes long. It's stopped out for a loss, and the system keeps working.
6:25 PM - Gold joins with a MACD cross long and banks its first target.
6:34 PM - NQ takes over. Four NQ breakout trades, four winners.
7:03 PM - The session crosses the daily target. Trident flattens, stops taking entries and posts: DAILY TARGET HIT, DONE FOR THE DAY.
No one had to touch a button to stop it. That was the point.
THE SCORECARD
NQ - Breakout - 4 trades - 4W/0L - +$1,945.00
ES - Breakout - 3 trades - 2W/1L - +$237.50
GC - MACD Cross - 4 trades - 3W/1L - -$190.00
TOTAL - 11 trades - 9W/2L - +$1,992.50
The same signals were copied in micro contracts to a prop-firm evaluation account.
Gold was the one red line, and it still did its job. It took small, controlled losses while NQ did the heavy lifting. That is what a multi-market lineup is for.
WHAT'S NEXT
One good night proves the ship floats. It doesn't prove the hull. Every session from here gets logged by market and session, with commissions and slippage included. We'll post the numbers as they come in, good days and bad.
Results shown are from simulated and prop-firm evaluation accounts, not live funded capital. Results are shown before commissions and slippage. Past performance, simulated or otherwise, is not indicative of future results. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Nothing here is financial advice.
